About
I’m Zeng Liang, a software engineer from Chongqing, China. I’ve spent more than a decade building native and web software with Swift, Objective-C, C, and modern web technologies. My work centers on clean engineering, reliable performance, and long-term maintainability.
I prefer working in plain text and CLI tools, following a software-craftsmanship mindset: focus on clarity, remove unnecessary complexity, and design systems that are simple, predictable, and easy to reason about. Whether I’m building a small utility or a full application, I care about the details — the shape of the code, the consistency of the interfaces, and the smoothness of the workflow.
I build software to solve real problems. Not to add features for the sake of features, but to make everyday tasks faster, calmer, and more efficient. My goal is to create tools that stay out of the way: fast to use, easy to maintain, and dependable over time.
I also enjoy exploring developer tools, automation, and text-based workflows — anything that improves clarity and reduces friction. Most of my projects are built around the same principles: simplicity, transparency, and a respect for the craft.
